Matcha

Matcha, straight up, or a Matcha Americano if you will. Our favorite way to consume matcha, and the way it is traditionally sipped. No milk, no sugar, no syrups, just the real green, volcanic powder that will nourish your body and your soul. We know that not all matcha is created equal, but Nekohama Matcha is naturally sweet, smooth, fresh and a beautiful shade of green. Trust us, you won’t need a single other ingredient to enjoy this drink on its own.

Serves 1-2

  • 2g Nekohama Ceremonial Matcha
  • 150ml water

Preparation

Method

  1. Add 2 bamboo scoops of matcha (2g) to sift over a bowl.
  2. Add 75 ml of 70-80 degree C hot water.
  3. Whisk matcha in zig zag motion until smooth.
  4. Add 75ml of hot water.
  5. Enjoy!
