Refreshing Tropical Matcha
Craving a tropical vacation? (Who isn’t)? This drink recipe will take you to paradise without you needing to leave your couch. Combining fresh pineapple with a dash of ginger gives this drink a vibrant and tart taste, mixed with a warm bite. Top it off with coconut water and a shot of Nekohama Matcha and you’ve got a bright yet smooth drink that is both energizing and calming. Vacation mode activated.
- 180g (1 1/2 cup) fresh pineapple
- thumb-sized piece of fresh ginger
- 150-200 ml coconut water
- Nekohama matcha shot
- Roughly chop pineapple and ginger. Place in a high speed blender and puree until smooth.
- Brew a matcha shot.
- Assemble the drink - pour pureed pineapple mixture, add ice, coconut water and top with half of matcha. Repeat for the second glass.
- Serve immediately.
