Best Smoothie for Gut Health
This smoothie contains a variety of ingredients that supports digestive health, reduces inflammation in the gut, and provides a nourishing breakfast option. The smoothie is sweet from the apples and banana and slightly tart from the lemon, with a hint of spice from the ginger. The addition of matcha adds a delicious and unique taste to the smoothie and provides an energizing boost to begin the day.
INGREDIENTS
Serves 2-3
- 4-5 celery stalks
- 1 medium or 2 small apples
- 1 banana
- 1 knob of peeled fresh ginger
- 1 cup spinach leaves
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 10 ice cubes
- 1/2 lemon (no peel)
- 1 tsp Nekohama matcha powder
METHOD
- Blend all ingredients until smooth!
