Signature Wood Kit

I’ve been waiting for this kit for a while now so I was super excited when it became available. Unboxing felt like a celebration. I love the bamboo wisk and the clear beveled bowl with the spout. The bamboo wisk too my matcha to the next level or creaminess. I used a metal wisk prior to getting this and it just didn’t do the trick, my matcha still had clumps. The only negative was the little bamboo box lid was difficult to open and slid off. I think the bamboo wood expanded, nothing a little sandpaper can’t fix when I get a chance. I am going to purchase two more kits to give as gifts. 🎁

The kit is very elegant and beautiful. I cannot wait to use it.

The tray was surprisingly poorly made for the cost. One of the corners was coming apart. The spoon stained green but that matters less. The glass bowl is lovely.

I bought the kit and Nekohama matcha and used both today for the first time. This is hands down the best matcha that I ever had. It is smooth, not bitter, a vibrant green and so delicious. The Essentials Kit is beautiful, of high quality and makes it so easy to create my own matcha. There is a lot of love and attention put into the Nekohama products, can’t recommend enough.
